Light On Yoga Somerset

Join us at Light On Yoga Somerset, a beautiful, bright, purpose built Iyengar Yoga studio in Castle Cary.

The studio opened in April 2026 after a lot of sanding, painting and renovating undertaken by Charlie with the help of her clever carpenter friend! The studio is located above Bailey Hill bookshop, Fore Street, Castle Cary. Classes run during term time and there are pop up classes over holidays, as well as workshops and events throughout the year.

Charlie, Lisa and George are all certified Iyengar Yoga teachers with a wealth of teaching experience and years of personal practice under their belts, including trips to the Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Memorial Institute in Pune, India. Beginners and General level classes run each week, as well as monthly therapeutic classes, focusing on injuries and ailments such as back and knee issues.

The studio is fully equipped with props specific to Iyengar Yoga, including ropes. Private classes and yoga philosophy classes are also taught at the studio - please enquire through the contact form.
